kiki_eng: actress, Billie Piper, wearing red glasses and laughing with her face scrunched up (Billie Piper is happy laughing joyful)
The reveals happened today and that was pretty exciting and funny.

The really delightful Vicky-T/Z Berg coffeeshop AU that was written for me was written by [archiveofourown.org profile] TheWrongKindOfPC, who wrote me an utterly lovely Tennessee Thomas/Demi Lovato fic for [livejournal.com profile] bandomstuffsit in 2012, and who I wrote a story for this year:

Space
Rating: PG-13 | 2,639 words | Z Berg/Tennessee Thomas
It's going to be the first time Z's ever seen The Deep End Club and Tennessee's maybe a little nervous about that.

It's set around Valentine's Day, which was very logical to do because of the canon but also meant that I was sort of writing about the wrong holiday.
kiki_eng: Annie Monroe of The Like wearing sunglasses (bandom) (Annie wearing sunglasses)
I didn't participate in [livejournal.com profile] yuletide this year. I had this clever plan for what I was going to request for what would have been my fifth year doing it- fandoms I had previously requested. It was going to be fantastic and simplify a lot of my yuletide process, but nominations happened and I forgot the plan and then made the call not to sign up because I was busy. I'm glad I didn't do it this year; there was a lot of busy-ness.

I did make time for the [community profile] bandom_holidays exchange, though, because [livejournal.com profile] bandomstuffsit was my favorite exchange last year. It was lots of fun this year, too. I received this incredibly adorable Jon/Patrick story wherein they work in television and pine after each other.

Until We're All Found Out by [archiveofourown.org profile] daniomalley
Rating: G | 3,149 words | Patrick Stump/Jon Walker
Summary: Jon loves being a camera operator for CSTV, not least because he gets to see Patrick Stump every day. If only the other man would notice he was alive.

I wrote a Pete/Patrick high school AU for [archiveofourown.org profile] ladyfoxxx.

We're All Sensitive People
Rating: PG-13 | 2,811 words | Patrick Stump/Pete Wentz
When Patrick goes to the next meeting with the AV people he gets a round of applause when he walks in. Gabe tells him that he is "So proud of you, grasshopper, for heeding my advice and spicing up your life and making a difference with music."

I think this might have been the first time ever that I had a title before I finished writing. It was very useful and I liked it.

I feel like all of the bandom people have DJ-ed at some point. One of Tennessee Thomas' sets is online at soundcloud here - it's fun and includes Roller Girl by Anna Karina, which is in the fic but not by name. There's a video of Patrick Stump singing Let's Get It On, a previous youtube posting of which gave the context that this was during a visit he had made to his old high school. The version he did then is very in line with the Marvin Gaye version; Patrick's performed this song since on stage and at radio gigs more in his own style. I spent a fair amount of time poking around on youtube, watching a lot of videos, including Spice Up Your Life, which I hadn't seen before and which appears to depict a grim dystopia wherein the Spice Girls are part of the oppressive government regime?

Title: Choose Your Own Adventure
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 2,830 words
Ship: Frank/Gerard
Summary: So, when Frank came to the Enchanted Forest he was supposed to have an adventure, he is pretty sure. There was supposed to be some kind of thing where he would, like, prove himself, and, well, Frank's pretty sure that the folks back home aren't going to go for Gerard's whole "Reading is the best adventure you can have!" thing.
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] bandomstuffsit for [livejournal.com profile] mistresscurvy Thanks to [personal profile] readbystarlight for telling me the scissors should be sentient and betaing, and to [personal profile] sinesofinsanity for additional assistance. ♥
Warning: I feel I should mention, just to be safe, because Frank is seen frying fiddleheads in this, that Health Canada recommends washing them thoroughly and boiling or steaming them prior to frying them for health and safety reasons.

Title: Hotel Night
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 618 words
Pairing: Annie/Tennessee
Summary: Annie catches a flash of black out of the corner of her eye and glances up to see Tennessee sliding the glasses onto her face and becoming Georgina. Oh, she thinks.
Notes: This story was inspired by a quote in [profile] 6degreesforbandomfemslash's Tennessee Thomas profile: "When I put aforementioned granny glasses on, Annie calls me Georgina. Georgina is very approachable and amicable. Georgina's great to have around when things get tense. She drives Z crazy! Georgina is like that librarian that finally breaks down. She's slightly out of her mind, manages to distract us from what is actually going on, and her insanity always makes us smile. It's great because even when we forget to invite her she ALWAYS manages to find out where we are."

Many thanks to [personal profile] calvinahobbes for beta reading.
