This is a gloriously happy vid. Within the first ten seconds I had acquired a manic grin and it has not yet gone away. The song is gloriously fun, and the vid is bright and wonderful and meshes with it in all sorts of wonderful ways. I really like the pacing of it. It focuses around Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise. It is shiny, joyous, and profoundly interesting. There has been a lot of rewatching of this.

There are so many things that I like about this, It's another insta-glee vid, because: that song, and Team. (Team!) It is gloriously shiny. I really like all of the themed montage bits, and the coordination with the music is perfect. This is so much fun to watch and ridiculously endearing. There are also all of these little, "oh, Jim is experiencing difficulties - hee" moments in it, that just make it fantastic.

Spock/Kirk and oh, do I mean exactly that. (Spock is so the alpha in that relationship.) The opening line of dialogue is essentially the perfect intro for this vid. It's smirk-inducing. Also: there are targeted pop-up ads on vids when you stream on imeem. I can not explain how amusing this is on a D/s vid.

Kirk/Spock/Uhura - which is impressive, fun, and works. I love how Kirk's pay attention to meeeeeeee-ness is plugged into that. The fact that this necessarily translates into a lot of footage of Kirk being shot down is also immensely satisfying. Fun and bouncy.

I have a ridiculous love of fun effects and there's some of that in here that brings me great joy. There's a focus on villains and the past in here that I haven't seen anywhere else yet and I really like. It also has the phrase "Who Found Mr. Fabulous?" in it. Joy, I tell you.

This goes along with the narrative of the song, wonderfully, which is always something that really pleases me. The use of a dance track makes this a lot of fun and there are also these great little driving grungy bits in it. Also: it is kind of hilarious and amazing. Spirk! (Spock/Kirk) ...I also keep getting distracted by Spock's pretty, pretty face.
