(because, really it's the only thing possible, clearly)
Watched The Poison Sky today, and the teaser for next week's episode is quite catching. The Doctor's Daughter, which, okay, I'm familiar enough with the original series not to be shocked by this. It looks like Russel T. Davis is going and filling in some stuff from the original series - which started off with The Doctor having a grand-daughter*, while also, rather contradictorily, being rather sexless. So, the more sex-full (it's a word now, a vaguely terrifying word, yes, but a word) Doctor is getting children. I approve.
*named Susan - The Discworld's Death also has a grandchild named Susan.
Clearly, the mother of his child is Rose. ...and yes, yes I know - I don't think the TARDIS was a' shakin' that way in the first two seasons (or, you know, now for that matter).
Point 1: The Doctor and Rose love each other very much. (*ships*)
Point 2: There have been Random transmissions of Rose this season
Point 3: Gymnastics. Rose had a medal in gymastics, and that jumping through sensors thing the kid did? Gymanstics.
Point 4: Genetics. We already know that the interspecies thing is a go. She can't be a timelord properly, because he wouldn't be the last of the timelords now, would he? She looks a bit like Rose, too, more in expressions than otherwise. (...and all dominant characteristics arguments can be magically eliminated with the word "alien")
So this will be revealed and when David Tennant/The Doctor disappears for most of a season afterwards he can be off living his happily ever after with Rose. Yes, yes.

Date: 2008-05-06 02:55 am (UTC)So if the Doctor's daughter is Rose's daughter, you think it is a future daughter that Rose has and the actual act between the two actually hasn't happened yet? Then it would be the doctor's weird spider sense telling him it's his daughter?
Anyway's it would be fun if nothing else,
Toodles

(I'm going with spidey sense and just being able to see yourself in direct relations type thing - anyone who's part timelord is going to stick out, too.)
...and went wiki-ing: Georgia Moffett (who's playing the kid) originally auditioned as Rose. (Hee.)
[Yeah, I loved the gas mask bit, and Colonel Mace(?) looked a lot like Algy, which was amusing.]
