Aha! I was right!

kiki_engI watched Bridge to Terabithia on my trip because: tour bus. It was actually a lot better than I was expecting; the little fantasy creatures were a lot of fun, and I didn't hate any of the children (which is often a very real risk for me with kids' films). I noticed Zooey Deschanel straight off, generally because she's just so damn pretty. 
About half way through, though, I was hit by a sudden and sneaking suspicion that the boy's dad was Agent Doggett (from The X-Files) - just got around to checking now and it turns out that Robert Patrick also played Colonel Sumner (SGA), which I totally missed.
I love finding people in unexpected places. One of my favorite finds is always Peter Lorre, not that he comes up that often or is ever that hard to find. (He's got this amazing accent.)
