So, I'm dubbing the coming month "Femslash February". There's some discussion going on in fandom right now that's led to my deciding that I want my fannish intake female-centric for a month. This pretty much translates into fannish material with an emphasis on women and their relationships with each other; so, not exclusively femslash.

Since I go over link content before I post it my fannish output is going to be female-centric as well. As I feel contractually obliged to create one, since I can, and because I am made of indecision, here is a poll. Please choose no more than a total of three of these options.

I think as long as it's not multi-coloured I'm pretty much okay. ...and I think I might have used that out of some sort of strange laziness. Shorthand isn't always that expressive, though. A better reply might have been something like: "POOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLS!!! WEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see you have filled out my poll in accordance to my guidelines; this pleases me. Also: these are your choices? How positively intriguing! *bounces at you like a thing that bounces*" On second thought, that might have been disturbing. (I am not actually feeling that bouncy right now - for some reason I am writing that way, though.)

Though I feel obliged to point out that I have in no way signed a contract indicating that I will fulfill your whims, puppet-master-like or otherwise. Dammit kiki_eng, stop dangling the possibility alluringly! I should be used to disappointment by now, but every time I still believe you (by the way, I am reading the most rubbish book right now - you can't even imagine. It is labelled as 'mystery' and had a somewhat interesting premise but is actually a bad romance. Boo.).

Hee, I'm glad you've gotten through the first season, there is a lot of fun to be found in BBT.

I voted! Sorry, but I ticked 4 things in the second section - but I couldn't choose anything from the first, so it's still less than six overall?

Also, the 'other' option to be posted in the comments: I missed the draft in the comments of the Fifteen Character meme post, thus I did not need to tick 'other'.

Which brings my total down to three again anyway.

Well, I was going for a total of three per person, so this is all good. I have to say, I was reasonably surprised at your choices, in part because I was kind of expecting a list of demands. Possibly story prompts involving unicorns. I am unsure.

ETA: Are you genuinely interested in Glee fic and such things, or was it a "best of" scenario? (I've not seen you express an interest in fannish things before.)

Okay, well actually let's back this up. I will still come in at a total under three (I understand that this is not crucial and of life-or-death importance [No, it's really not], but this counting thing has seemed to be an issue so far).

Glee was more a 'best of' scenario. As was the vid rec post grouped by song. Although I am more interested in vids than fic, and Glee may be an appropriate slant to attract me.

I do have a genuine interest in learning who this Adam Lambert person is, but don't remember what RPF stands for.

And I swear I'm not doing this to torture you. But actually now that you mention it, I have a sudden and strong desire for unicorn stories. With rainbows, sparkles, and knitted magical items. Plz yes?

And if I get to make a list of demands, I'd like lifetime access to a supply of chocolate-covered almonds, an extra two hours to do baking every week, a self-cleaning kitchen (this includes the dishes), and a new bicycle. Thanks!

RPF is Real Person Fiction. I'll probably get around to all these posts eventually, just not for the next month. (I have fourteen posts in draft form right now - it's very odd.)

I'm pretty sure the terms of the poll exclude things that are not posts, though your demands are intriguing.

The knitted magical items are an intriguing suggestion as well, but I'm not entirely sure what to do with it.
