Single-parented not-clone children.  *sigh*
Jenny's fun, though, I must say, like a rather friendly puppy.  I hope she's OK, and that the universe is kind to her.
Few things:
the drumming when the Doctor was pointing the gun
the whole god thing (again)
...and we're still waiting for the end of song

yeah I found Jenny very Mary-sue like but I figure she was created like that so it's not like she has much of a personality yet. Yeah there does seem to be a lot of God like messages, though part of the Doctor is the fact that he knows so much more than everyone else that he does act superior and sometimes God-like all-knowing, which can be fun.
By the way I had forgotten to watch this episode until I saw you posted this, thanks :)

Yeah, I think she can be excused that, for your reason, and, you know, being Jesus and all. (That planet is going to have a very interesting mythology.)
The God things been coming up more frequently of late, or I'm just noticing it more, because: Rose in The Parting of Ways, the God-Maker paradigm in School Reunion, the shrine in The Fires of Pompeii, and now. Though, I have to say that there's usually a little bit of it there, just because he is "the man that makes people better." A lot of what he does is essentially god-like because of superior understanding of technologies, and then he does it with such a dramatic flair that whatever he's done becomes magnified. Which, yeah, fun, but I'm kind of expecting some sort of fallout like Jaynestown or Love & Monsters.
