The song that this is set to is so much fun and also a perfect choice thatsettiai uses to lay out this descriptive exploratory piece on Rory and his relationship with Amy and their relationship with the Doctor - and it's a romp. A yearning, hopeful punch in the feels about kinship with great timing - I have spent so much time just watching how these two move in this and how the song falls around that; it's really lovely. Stiles' descent into the supernatural and just- him; it's a really great character piece, full of flailing and frustration and straining and tiny victories. There's Danny classed alongside Lydia, which I really appreciate, and all of the sides of the supernatural world that try to take a piece out of him. There's his relationship with Scott and with his father, really great facial expressions, fumbles and fist-pumps.
