Highlander
I don’t know Highlander, not really, and clearly I need to get on that, because the people in this vid are awesome. There’s romance and squabbling and flirting and tension and chemistry and shenanigans and classiness. I love the story that’s told here and am seriously impressed by how incredibly cool this vid is. It’s got rhythm and it’s fun and sexy.

The X-Files
There’s a lot of The X-Files in this, how it works and what the show is. The song is kind of hilarious, in that it totally is what The X-Files is about, that shit is fucked up and you’re being lied to, and you kind of get the same sort of barrage of the imperative as you do in the show - Trust No One, Fight the Future. The video does a really good job of matching the audio and it’s fascinating and has really good flow.

Highlander
This vid is seriously fun. Duncan settles the score with Methos, which is that he is not, in fact, a virgin anymore. This is to say that most of the footage used in this is of Duncan having sex and being involved in various acts of sexiness. It’s joyful and has likely given me a slightly skewed perception of the show, which I can not say that I mind. The vid’s funny and kind of adorable.

The Sentinel
"Since the black cat crossed my path I ain't never looked back." It’s a vid about the many woes of the lifestyle of Jim Ellison, but, you know, he also gets a Blair, so things are pretty good. There’s something strangely uplifting about the minor misfortunes of others, so between that and the shipping it’s satisfying and happy-making. It’s cute.

The X-Files
The song that this is set to sounds like it could have come off the first film’s soundtrack; it’s such an X-Files song. This is another vid that’s very much the show. There’s conspiracy and darkness and paranoia and things that go bump in the night. There’s also pain and joy and wonder and power walks and explosions here along with a lot of the Mulder and Scully relationship.

Xena
It’s been a number of years since I’ve seen Xena and while I knew that there was sensual female dancing, I'd kind of forgotten how much of it there is. This vid is so much about that, the sensuality and the femininity, that the Xena/Gabrielle aspect feels secondary in comparison. It’s a mood piece, which I always find really neat.
