So, I've seen Twilight and I have to say, I was entertained.


Bella is a Mary Sue. This is completely amazing. (...and also slightly worrying.)

Robert Pattison is playing James Dean in this film. This is fucking awesome.

Charlie has a mustache. At first it is a creepy uncle mustache but then it turns into the coolest thing ever.

...and nothing happens. To compensate for this there are random artsie bits. Also: everything is blue.

Essentially the entirety of the film is given away in the hillywood twilight musical parody, except, you know, you might be misled by it into thinking that Bella has a spine.

The film scans a lot like bad fanfic, but it also scans a lot like bad fanfic and so is a lot of fun in that way.

28 Reasons That 'Twilight' the Movie is better than 'Twilight' the Book points out a lot of things in the film that are fun to watch for. (I'm especially fond of the not-sex scene.)

jaggywar's entry, How To Be Like Edward Cullen is a response to the books rather than the film, and is fucking hilarious.

So is Twilight on Ice: I want to see this, because there is so much potential for awesome in it.

What? Now I'm never going to get to see it, 'cause you and Liz have already watched it and I can't do it on my own. Also, a few days ago I was watching the musical version kiiind of like I was on crack, and it was more bandwidth-saving to download it. It's in quicktime format under My Videos > TV & Internet, should you so desire.

I will totally watch it again with you. I can be fixated by Charlie's mustache some more and the blueness. Also: it feels weird mocking it by oneself.
