Happenings in Who-verse

Torchwood, Children of Earth, which was rather intense in typical Torchwood fashion - There was a fair amount of rage, what with the fucking over/killing of all of my favorite characters made complete in this arc, and Gwen and Rhys having a happy heterosexual ending (What the buttons, Davies, seriously, I mean, you beat up P.C. Andy. Was that really necessary?).

This vid was exactly what I needed to see after Children of Earth. It is completely gorgeous. It deals with Jack and the relationship he has with the children of Earth, some of the darkness that's present in Torchwood. It examines Jack in the role of the Pied Piper. It draws parallels and pieces things into something new that I'd not seen before. Powerful, gorgeous and true.

There is also a new trailer out for The Waters of Mars that got released at ComicCon, and the official Doctor Who site has some spoilers posted - casting spoilers about villains and companions and some photos from filming. It's all quite exciting and spoilery.

that vid is beautiful, I need to watch it again a few times, but I think it will be beautiful in closing what happend in Children of Earth.
