There is an Old Spice Commercial called The Man Your Man Could Smell Like. It's fairly ridiculous advertising. [This, however, via sobluethesky, I am inclined to judge more awesome. (Libraries.)] There is a kink meme*. (We will be getting back to this.)

FEMINIST HULK is a fantastic twitter. ("Bio HULK SAYS FUCK PATRIARCHY. HULK HERE TO SMASH GENDER BINARY.") There is a most excellent interview with FEMINIST HULK and Judith Butler here. (Also: there is a dreamwidth feed of the twitter.)

That throws me every time; I know that they have to mean Price but I see Dashwood, and now I've started thinking about characterisation and wondering how an actual steel cage match in Austen-verse would go down or, if, given the nature of Austen, a cage match wouldn't be too restrictive a competition (Politicking! Cutting remarks!) and whether or not there'd need to be some character version face-off beforehand (e.g. The Original Elizabeth Bennet vs. Lalita (Aishwarya Rai's) vs. Keira Knightley's vs. Greer Garson's etc.) or if that would be impractical. (There may be some over-analysis going on here.)]

My favourites in this are the original commercial, the library commercial (as this is posted where other people can read it, I would like to point out that they should watch what happens to the tree at the start after it gets yanked away [check the left side after the magic backpack arrives]), and the Brontë Sisters Power Dolls, all of which I judge to be equally giggly-worthy.

FEMINIST HULK I don't think I will follow but it's funny and I like.

I haven't ventured towards the fics. Jane Austen's Fight Club is pretty great but trumped by Book Throwing Action.
