Doctor Who - The Doctor's Wife

That was awesome!
TARDIS: "It's like kissing only there's a winner."
Amy: "You want to be forgiven." Doctor: "...don't we all."
TARDIS: "What makes you think I would ever give you back?"
Doctor: "My TARDIS." TARDIS: "My Doctor."
They are so amazingly epic. A mad man and his box. ♥
I loved the Cloister Bell. (I always love the Cloister Bell; it makes me happy.)
I loved the Doctor slapping himself, and also the voice was perfect - just the right combination of ominous and friendly.
TARDIS: "Seven hundred years. Finally he asks."
I loved the old-style design work in the TARDIS interior, and just, we got a whole episode about the TARDIS! That was awesome!
There was such a Gaiman vibe to that universe - the junk/graveyard and the patch-work people, and the TARDIS' human body (Idris?), she was almost Helena Bonham Carter-esque, which was a lot of fun.
TARDIS: "No, but I always took you where you needed to go." ♥
TARDIS: "I wanted to see the universe so I stole a time lord and I ran away." YES, THIS. A thousand times, this. (Just, the way the TARDIS has been characterised in new Who, clearly the only explanation, though ...now I want fic written from the TARDIS' perspective. Just, the Master and other various separations - those are interesting.
TARDIS: "The pretty one." I love how that was Rory. That was kind of wonderful.
...and also Amy's telepathic message, and the torture. (The torture was less wonderful, but we don't get to see Amy's fear that much, so that was interesting.)
Amy: "Did you wish really hard?"
Doctor: "You say that as if it's a bad thing, but honestly it's the best thing there is." ♥
Doctor: "No, bunk beds are cool. A bed with a ladder." ♥
So, in summary: TARDIS and Doctor - ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...

And yes, there needs to be TARDIS fic -- this is not actually new -- but now there could be before!Idris fic and after!Idris fic. Because, as Matt said in Confidential, it will be so so interesting to see how their relationship will change after that.

Bunk beds are pretty awesome. It is true. As are lofts. (...and yeah, I was really happy with that bit of characterisation.)
TARDIS fic makes a lot of sense; it would be deeply weird if it didn't exist. I think Idris has done a lot to enable it, mind, and am interested to see where that goes. The capabilities of the TARDIS are an interesting question and I wonder about the Master running off with the box in season 3 now - there are interesting things there, I think.
