I'm not really a big fan of Ginny. I think that has a lot to do with how many characters there are in the Harry Potter books; it was easy to get distracted by all of these other people, reading them, and by the time the seventh book came out I was focusing a lot more on characters outside of the trio and their main circle. (I missed an entire plot line in one of the books doing this, I think.) There were a lot of characters in the books to relate to; it was really easy to ignore certain characters. I haven't done a reread, so I can't really comment on her characterisation, but a lot of what stuck out for me were all of those incidences focusing on her relationships with men. I feel that a lot of Ginny was her romantic arc, and I didn't relate to any of it; I wasn't interested in any of it. Looking for art of Ginny I found that a lot of it has her being this almost pin-up caricature or a child, which are, kind of interesting depictions when that becomes a major trend. Writing these art recs I found myself using the word "natural" a lot, or synonyms of it; I think that I might have been looking for pieces wherein she looked like a person when I was narrowing things down for this. So, indeed: Ginny.
Ginny & Teddy (& Arnold) by

This portrait is gloriously pink and saccharine. It's very calm and sweet. I have a lot of love for the way Teddy is drawn in this, a toddler wide-eyed with wonder at a goggly-eyed puffskein, holding onto a bit of Ginny's hair absently. I love the hair in this, that Teddy's is pink and how realistic and simple Ginny's is. I love the loose braid, all of the loose bits not caught up in it and the simpleness of her fasteners; I love how casual it is and how much it goes with what she's wearing and the mood of the piece. I love her clothing. I love the details that make it Weasley-wear, the stitches on her shirt, the texture of the sweater-vest, and those two bright red buttons. I love how relaxed and happy she seems.

This is a really neat sketch of how Ginny might look in her twenties. I love how neutral her expression is, how very much this is a realistic portrait and how stripped down it is, how much its focus her eyes are. There's nothing really remarkable about what she's wearing or her hair, so you've really just got this neutral face observing; it's kind of excellent. That said, I really do like both her hair and her clothes in this, how tousled her hair is and the colour variations within it along with the lines that make up her black shirt. I am reasonably fascinated by those lines.
Ginny Weasley by Ninidu
I like this picture of Ginny in casual athletic wear with a snitch for the strange and natural contortion of limbs it contains. Ginny's tying her shoelaces interestingly, and it's one of those things that I can look at and go, "Of course. This makes perfect sense, to her."; it's one of those positions that feels logical and natural but looks anything but, that makes a lot of sense in the athlete that Ginny is. I like her knees and elbows in this, that depiction scraggly bits, if you will. I also like the contrast between her and the background, which is kind of whimsical and silly in a very low key way where Ginny is doing a very good job of just being.
Luna, Ginny, Hermione by TomScribble
The sketchiness of this, particularly of Luna, reminds me a bit of Quentin Blake's style; it's fun. I like how very much they appear students in this, how casual all of them are in their dress and manner, how much a feeling there is that this is very much a scene that one could have run into, rounding a corner in Hogwarts. It's pretty awesome for that. I like Ginny's big comfy sweater, Luna's shoes and socks, and Hermione's many books. I really like their postures and how out to sea Luna is. The background is nicely detailed and interesting, too, which is nice to see; it's effective.
