Vera Brosgol works as a storyboard artist for Laika Entertainment. She's done and is involved with a number of things outside of that that I really like.

fashion from old people, or drawthisdress, is a tumblr that she runs with Emily Carroll. They draw dresses - "interpreting photos of outfits into drawings of outfits". It's actually really awesome because part of that is drawing people wearing these clothes. A lot of the time they're taking dresses off of museum stands and then drawing them lived in, so there's body language and facial expression in their drawings where there wasn't any in the reference photo. It's delightful.

What were you raised by wolves? is a thirty-four page wordless comic that she's made and is available in its entirety online at her website (the link goes to the comic there). It's about a girl who was raised by wolves, and it's not a particularly happy story, in fact lots of terrible things happen in it, but it's wonderfully dark and macabre.

Anya's Ghost is a Young Adult Graphic Novel. It's about a girl named Anya who falls down an old well and meets a ghost. It's about feeling like an outsider and it's a Young Adult book, basically. There's some ableist language in it, which I don't like, but there are a number of things about it that I really do. I really like Anya's being an immigrant and how that's part of what makes her feel like an outsider, that there's this darker element with the ghost and how that ghost ties in with Anya's voyage. There's a lot about this story that feels really familiar, that feels true. There's a 17 page preview if you're interested in checking it out.

Vera Brosgol's website is here and she has sketches and drawings up there and all kinds of things, including info on which Flight anthologies she's contributed to and a couple short films that are available online.
