[personal profile] such_heights is running a Female Character Trope Fest again this year. Fanworks about female characters! Gen! Femslash! Tropes! (Excitement!)

The prompt post is open right now and the fill post is set to go up on May 2nd.

I'm planning on heading over there in a day or so and leaving a couple of prompts, just as soon as I decide what I want those to be. I'm thinking about soulbonding or robots or a coffee shop AU and Bomb Girls and Bandom and St. Trinian's. *bounce* I am also planning on posting a fill this year. (I have ambitions.)

You should check it out; it's a lot of fun.

[community profile] fem_thoughts is running The 3rd Annual Femslash Mini Meta Fest, which seems to basically be a very low key meta fest where you can meta as little or as much as you like. There are already prompts up and discussion in the comments, including some recs. You should check it out if you're interested in meta and/or femslash.

Exciting! That does sound fun. I've got to say I've read a few female-centric fic's lately that I've enjoyed a lot in the Avengers-fic craziness. Most of which I remember as being Darcy and Pepper being awesome, sometimes together sometimes separate. (The one where Pepper takes her under her wing was fun).
But Soulbonding, robots and coffee shop AU's are always good ideas :) always.
But sounds very fun! I could use more awesome female characters.

Second that! My fic reading has been... odd lately and needs more Darcy and Pepper being awesome. :)

or whatever you call dark and slightly crack-y fic based on internet review shows.

aside, I see you've added zombies to your prompt list. I approve :)

yes

I suppose yes, as far as antagonist motivation zombies and daleks are both going to try to destroy you as that is their nature, but I feel like daleks are more the "we must be epically brave and clever to defeat you" story whereas zombies are the "survive by the seat of our pants" story. both can be mindless hordes to a certain extent tho...

What is this deciding nonsense? Just make ALL the prompts! :oP (I have such trouble getting any ideas at all.)

And OMG don't tease me with Bomb Girls soulbonding and then not follow through! ... How awkward would it be if I asked you to prompt that? I am totes plot-bunnied now /o\

Hee! I actually surprised myself a bit with how many prompt I could actually think up. Tropes -- I like them!

OMG me neither, but then you just putting those words in close proximity made me all *__* (Actually, soulbonding is not something I am overly familiar with, so I am probably going to have to research just a little...)

Plot bunnies ARE exciting, actually! I have been so uninspired basically since Yuletide, so it's good to have exciting prompts!
