yuletide and bandomstuffsit

Dear bandomstuffsit author and anyone writing for me for yuletide: I'm going to be afk starting today for about a week. So, if anything goes up during that period, that's what the crickets on this end are about. Thank you so much for writing something for me! I'm really looking forward to reading it!

The first bandomstuffsit story is up on the community; posting runs from today to January 2nd. I am really excited for everything bandomstuffsit-related. I've really been enjoying everything involved with that exchange.

I ended up defaulting on yuletide. I sort of feel like the happiest defaulter? It's really strange. I've got a complete fic for the recipient that was assigned to me, and then ran out of time to finish finishing my yuletide and also be able to sleep. I chose sleep, so I'll be finishing my yuletide as a NYR story and this way my recipient gets a better story later than the one I would have given them if I finished on time, and another chance at getting a femslash story for yuletide.

Right now I don't have a yuletide gift, which I'm really okay with. I mean, I'm really giddy about everything I requested and would be generally delighted to read fic for those requests, but there is also this giant collection of shiny things. I am not very much fussed if nothing has my name on it.

Does anyone else use hotmail? Has anyone besides me been having weird issues with it the past few days? (I can't actually read any of my mail. There is no clicking through from my inbox. It's sort of splendidly terrible.)

Recs for different e-mail services would be very much appreciated.

I know google is taking over the world, but I use gmail and it's worked well for years.
