Teen Wolf: Lunar Eclipse

I really hadn't expected to find myself typing that. I have previously explained Teen Wolf fandom to people as Terrible things happen during the season. Between seasons fandom desperately tries to rebuild the happy pack that the show's never given them but fandom desperately longs for, and last season's just crushed. ...I think we just got given that happy pack? I mean, probably just until the rest of season three comes around, but there's a lot of writing and drawing and podficcing, etc. time before that.
I mean, the episode wasn't perfect. The part where Deucalion's ultimate evil form is black was suspicious as fuck. We're also down two female characters.
But! Parent-child relationships! The part where Derek and Cora have gotten out of Beacon Hills! (I sort of want lots of gen fic where they rebuild their lives and, I don't know, go to therapy and school together or quietly run a B&B and knit things/do repair work. Something.) McCall pack! Allison/Scott/Isaac possibilities! The part where Stiles and Lydia's relationship is really solid now.
I also enjoy Peter as a villain, so am sort of looking forward to the next part.
