Right. So I want to start off by saying that you don't have to comment on this post. You don't have to comment on this post. People reading this are busy, they maybe don't know me that well, whatever the reason. This is not an obligation meme. Please, feel free to skip this.

Love memes throw me a little bit, and they're a bit weird for me, so this is definitely part of the snowflake_challenge that is a challenge for me. (It will be a glorious experiment?)

Fannish enthusiasm is awesome, regardless of fandom. I'm not sure why I'm not in One Direction. I have read One Direction fic and really liked it. I think I'm maybe just getting enough fannish content elsewhere right now? IDK! I mean, cuddly boys are super exciting! *hands*

I don't know you (yet?) so I can't really describe in detail how wonderful you are (though you totally are, I'm sure of it!).

Yay for glorious experiments! And I think that already says a lot about you: that you're at least a little bit brave, and a lot lovely!

I was actually thinking about Watterson the other day, and how he never sold out, man. He never okay-ed his characters be used in ways he didn't agree with - there are the collections but there's no Hobbes plushie or that kind of merchandising line. ...and his work's great, so I was looking at it yesterday, and thinking about it, and hey, person that quotes Bill Watterson at people they have just met. :) Hello.

I don't think I'd seen that particular piece before, though I'm certain I've seen something very like it. I love how much Calvin and Hobbes fanwork there is out there, and all of that future!fic genre. I love how much it's captured people's imaginations and how much so many people seem to love it still. It's great.
